Optima shall make every effort to complete orders by the date agreed with the Customer but does not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated time where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Optima is not obliged to pay any compensation in these cases.

Title in the goods does not pass to the customer until payment is received in full. Optima does not accept liability for shortages or damage or defects unless the Customer notifies us of the shortcomings within 48 hours of receipt of the delivered goods. Please ensure that all goods are checked for any signs of damage before accepting the goods. We will not be liable for replacing or refunding items that have not been checked before accepting them. If goods have been found damaged, please inform us before making payment or if invoiced please make a note on the invoice or delivery note.

If the customer has chosen self-pick up, delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are picked up from one of our shops, whereupon the risk of loss, damage, and all other risks shall pass to the customer. Customers are required to collect goods within the shortest time possible during our shop opening hours.

If the customer has chosen delivery, the customer is required to be able to accept the goods on the delivery date provided for delivery during normal working hours. Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are delivered to the customer’s agreed address, whereupon the risk of loss, damage and all other risks shall pass to the customer.

If the customer cannot accept delivery, Optima reserves the right to deliver to the closest outlet for the client to collect at a later date, following a call or an e-mail notification to the client. The client may request  a different delivery date provided that this is accepted by Optima, however, an additional charge may apply.

Optima reserves the right to store the goods at the Customer’s expense and risk up to a period of 28 days.

 Optima has the right to seek all legal remedies to recover payment for undelivered goods.
